The Nuclear Engineering Department's high performance computing cluster was first assembled in 2008 as a Master's degree project. It is composed of computational nodes and fileservers connected to the head node via Gigabit Ethernet. A more detailed description of the origins of the project is available in David Dixon's Master's Project Report, with presentation slides here.
The use of this system is regulated by Acceptable Use of Information Technology Resources Policy (AUP).
